Anon 18:42 - no chip on this shoulder. As a Chartered Legal Exec i earn more than most solicitors i know, i have managed solicitors, i have worked with some who are barely competent at basic practice and i work for a law firm not regulated by the SRA but by CILEx Regulation. I have no want nor need to qualify as a solicitor.

What is insulting is, despite all that, solicitors make naive comments about CILEx being the nurses to their doctors. The reality is FCILEx's and Solicitors are now the nurses to the Barristers/Doctors. I'm just pointing out how tedious that position that is repeated on here so often is. And i'm sorry if that offends you but you're not that special, that is why solicitors are the ones with a chip on their shoulder not us.
