Why doesn’t the Court Service simply televise all proceedings, and have a premium phone line so that the public can decide the winner. That way, everyone wins, the courts make money for the treasury coffers, and the public are in control of the cases. No need for those dreadful lawyers, who have spent years of hard work and lots of money to qualify in an area which is not, and never will be, within the understanding of the greater part of the public, however you choose to word it.
