Whilst I have sympathy with those who have been laid off, I find it staggering that very few decided to be proactive and find alternative employment before the whole thing collapsed. It was easy to predict this inevitable outcome once the CVA was entered into. As soon as JC missed the first few payments, it was over. They could never have recovered. It wasn't hard for those in my firm who were interested to find the relevant information on JC's financial struggles and the importance of moving all the work to a more sensibly run cost firm.
