I have a sense of déjà vu. A long time ago, when I did defendant PI work, I remember a majot insurance company saying, to gathered representatives of its panel firms, words to the effect that 'the panel remains ‘key to our strategy’' - and not long thereafter it shrunk its panel to a handful of firms who would work for peanuts and dumped the rest with little or no ceremony. Who would bet against NAHL replicating this scenario?
