Everyone focussing on colour of skin when diversity means so much more than that, perhaps all of the middle aged while male dominated firms (which is most of the UK legal market) have realised that you can no longer "blag it" and hide behind the various arguments to evade equality. This doesn't just apply to the legal profession.

A Judge once allowed someone to refer to me as "Coloured" without reprimand, perhaps this needs to start at the top? How diverse is the Supreme Court?

Perhaps the proper test is to look at on average how diverse the equity share in a law firm is , I suspect the results would be fairly predictable.

Cue the token job titles/appointments!
