Patrick Stevens, I'm not a lawyer and find this whole thing beyond belief. 'Common humanity and decency' do not seem to be things that the people running your show have. What kind of investigation or assessment of suitability did they have to undergo to get the job and what kind of competences did those who assessed them have to have? From all the many criticisms, or indeed condemnations, of them I have
read in this journal, they sound like absolutely disgusting people. What tenure do they have? Can no-one call them to account? You're asking for trouble if you appoint people who can then act as they please, and that is exactly the kind of job that would be applied for by people who seek unchecked power.
