Following a blog made previously upon which there was no reaction, let us assume the employee was completely honest but unfairly dismissed for whistle blowing. Such whistle blowing is strangely not a protected disclosure because the SRA are not a body recognised as say the NHS or a Bank would be in Employment legislation and therefore dismissal not automatically unfair. This clearly is a flaw and leaves employee having to prove dismissal was unfair with all the costs involved. Therefore why should employee put his or her neck on the chopping block? Best to turn a blind eye perhaps unless this glaring flaw is dealt with pronto.
