Anon at 17.18: if you visit Stamford Hill in North London you will see that it is a very small pocket of Jewish Orthodox community - a very specific and unique community, with their schools, shops, libraries etc. It is not a ghetto. There is plenty of other social housing around: vast estates of Hackney and Tottenham are on their doorstep.
