And what of the clients of De Vita Platt? Their lives have also been turned upside-down, not only because of dishonest practices but because of the pedestrian response by the SRA in closing down the firm - some three years after Ms Scott reported her concerns and 11 months after the SRA decided to prosecute the two partners and Ms Scott.
