Will an insurance claim be paid out when partners of a firm have acted dishonestly or fraudulently? I doubt any insurer would cover for such losses.

Incidentally, the two former partners of De Vita Platt Solicitors will be at York Crown Court on Monday 11 February, 2019 @ 10am for a pre-trial hearing in a case investigated and prosecuted by York Trading Standards along with five other defendants. Charges include Fraudulent Trading (S.993 Companies Act 2006) Money Laundering (Proceeds of Crime Act) and there is a conspiracy charge thrown in for good measure as well. Case No: T20197007
