The issue of whistleblowers moving to another job is more difficult than it looks. Unless you've blown the whistle on something obvious (there were three bodies in the cellar) and all the partners are in custody, then it's very difficult for a prospective employer to find out the facts. After all, errant partners aren't going to "fess up" and admit they were raiding the client account. They will have a vested interest in carrying on with their dishonesty and blaming the whistleblower.

I can just imagine how it would go:-

"Have you found anything about how this applicant came to leave Thief and Crook."
"The story is that she was fiddling her travel expenses, and when confronted, she alleged the partners were nicking money from the client account."
"Shall we have a look at the other applicants then?"
