A 'reasonable time' is one thing. A 'certain time' irrespective of whether or not that is reasonable in relation to my other commitments which you are unaware of is something else. Everyone has to prioritise and if your " I want a reply in 10 minutes" clashes with my "I have to finalise this document and file in no later than 15 minutes" then you're not going to get a reply by your deadline.
