The claimant personal injury sector is sinking into a pit of desperation. I say that as a practising personal injury solicitor in the claimant sector.

As 12:39 pointed out below, injured people shouldn’t be viewed as commodities. Likewise, people shouldn’t be encouraged to pursue (very often questionable) lines of investigation (so-called ‘subtle’ brain injuries, chronic pain or tinnitus) in order to maximise value to benefit from MT allocation costs. It’s opening these people up to adverse costs orders when it all unravels and gross exaggeration is established.

Further, I am sick to death of my LinkedIn wall being hijacked by shysters relentlessly attempting to sustain the holiday sickness or cavity wall insulation claims. These are areas where dishonesty of some sort is the norm, let them slip away for the sake of our profession’s reputation.
