I had a Youth Offending Service Officer who did just that once with a young man who the Local Authority were refusing to house, despite a court order that they must - drove him to the shiny new Civic Hall and dropped him off in reception - did the trick then and I can't see that the outcome would have been any worse for this poor chap if he had done the same.
