Come off it, 09.21. It is not an abuse to want to draw a line under an unpleasant incident and say “there’s an end of it”. Of course you can’t exclude reporting to the police or to a genuine regulator - although regulators should have time limits for complaints which should not be extended - and Members of Parliament and peers are not regulators. Neither are the media.
