Laura, you won’t remember me, I doubt, but I remember you and how impressed I was when you left the firm we were both at to set up on your own. Clearly it was the right thing for you/your practice and I have no doubt you have worked incredibly hard for your success. I applaud you and your comment here. If you were willing, it would be great if the Gazette would give you/others a platform to explain in more detail what you did, why you did it, what you have gained from it and what challenges you have overcome and still continue to tackle. I don’t mean “as a woman” but “as a professional”. It seems that what many women value and appreciate (I won’t say “need”) is examples of “how it can be done” and inspiration (“yes, I see it can be done”) to encourage them; for example, to actually take the leap you did. If you already done this via another platform, please can I encourage you to share it!
