Equality. Meaning equal. When is International Men's Day scheduled?

I honestly think all of this argument over equality and the purported holding back of women in law is just jumping on the feminist bandwagon. Things have improved greatly, hugely, in the last 100 years, and will no doubt continue to do so with the influx of female Solicitors qualifying now, who will no doubt go on to be Partners/Heads of Departments etc when they reach that point of their career/experience.

I just cannot agree, from my own experience, that women are being held back. In fact, from that experience, I see women afforded the opportunity to either thrive in their career path or take the option of a more family-orientated lifestyle, putting child rearing at the forefront of their priorities. Both options perfectly acceptable, and a matter of choice. I just don't see a problem these days (in my own experience of a middle-sized firm where I've been happy for 11 years).
