Absolute rubbish. Another article about the holding back of the poor females of our profession. Another attempt at stirring up a feminist agenda that has no place in a profession like ours.

I do wish the Gazette would stop jumping on the bandwagon of "unconscious bias", and allowing articles like this to drag women back hundreds of years to sound weak, unable to stand up for themselves or feeling like crying at the drop of a hat. How ridiculous to suggest that people seeing a female Solicitor in a room will assume she's the tea girl. That sort of assumption would have gone out the window with a Reginald Perrin type sit com. Stop it.
