I am profoundly relieved that the Attorney General is straight. This is exactly like a drafting a Tomlin Order and trying to pretend that it gives you the security you need on a deal when it clearly doesn't. No reputable lawyer will do it. We have to have the guts to face down the EU and accept a no deal outcome as a means of achieving free trade. Our ancestors have faced down 5 tyrannies since 1588. Philip II, Louis XIV, Napoleon, Kaiser Bill and Hitler. Those tyrannies were all European, and this is another one in the making. Our instincts of compromise and co-operation are correct and theirs always end up with people getting burned. It is a shame that Europhiles have such contempt for the historical facts and for those who disagree with them.
