Anon @ 13:18 - we also "signed" up to the GFA. I think that you will find that the backstop merely ensures that we don't try to wriggle out of our obligations under that agreement, simply because our minority "government" are held hostage by a handful of religious zealots who don't give a fig for the GFA.
