If there wasn't so much hostility towards Iran and a constant attempt to seclude them by the US and Israel no doubt we could 'hope' to bring them in line with modern principles of fairness and justice. However, because of things they are defensive and will not be seen to adopting changing polices and practices in case it's seen as succumbing to the west, even if those changes are for their own good. Things aren't going to ever change whilst the US and Israel serve their interests, the world and people aren't deaf dumb and stupid as they would (and continue to think). Iran was and is 100 per cent a zero threat to the UK and we should keep out of US/Israeli policies and have a far better relationship with Iran and is very very very easily done, for the interests of our civilians and future. Let the US and Israel fight their own battles and then we would have a much greater influence in Iran - half the women there don't even wear head scarfs other than religious days or holy places so wake up this purely political and the US/Israel are more to blame, in some of our eyes. if you want real change you need to chance the root causes, that will show you truly care.
