I agree with Mr Robinson. However, at the moment it isn't clear that there will be lawyers from other parties (presumably the social media companies?): Deborah Coles is quoted as referring to "... the large and well-funded corporate bodies who will likely be interested parties."

An inquest is nonetheless a court process, and one likely intimidating to a layperson, not only because of its formality, but also because the coroner's powers and limitations will not be understood. Without legal representation (as a minimum through some independent amicus curiae) those personally affected by the death concerned will likely have no faith in the process, and respect for the rule of law will be diminished.
