Among those of the age of High Court judges and older, it appears that Facebook is the preferred form of social media, principally because it is a convenient way of keeping in touch with family and seeing the latest pic of a grandchild (whose parents probably don't know what a film camera is).

None of the stuff I've seen reported about what's on the judges' pages seems to be outside this private domestic stuff. Presumably (like me) they are too clueless to work out the privacy settings.

I'm on Facebook, because I had to be for work some years ago. It seems impossible to 'resign' from it. But I don't post anything. Pretty much daily however I get messages from various relatives and acquaintances about their latest cup of coffee or something. My close family know better!
