Here’s a thought. The Chair of the CJC could come up with some sort of solution, such as legal aid for those who do not have the means to pursue an important claim. Or perhaps require paid Mackenzie Friends to write retainer letters that include the acknowledgment they have no legal qualifications and cannot be sure they actually know what they are doing.
