Are you not making a rather sweeping assumption with what you say? You seem to be saying that all "nationalists" would regard themselves as "right" wing and from observation I am not sure that is actually correct. At their very extremes right and left tend to be rather similar in some core respects.
However it is agreed that the colour of skin or ethnicity is totally irrelevant - you can have nationalists (who are often also racists although not necessarily - race and nationality are not the same thing) of all colours and ethnicities.
