Having rung Newcastle DPR today to chase issue of a grant and being told that due to the failure of a "new system" no Grants have been issued nationwide since Monday (!) it's probably a good thing they haven't also had to deal with the SI and the pre-increase rush or the sytem would genuinely be in melt down... (Which idiot thought the justaposition of those two changes would be a good idea??)
... Or is that the real reason they've not introduced the SI.....???
