Forty years today as a solicitor. 8.75 months (maximum) to retirement and freedom from the Land Registry, Law Society and the SRA and all their ridicules mutterings.

I really fear for the youngsters coming into the 'profession' today. Even the proximity of the coffin is preferable to the thought of being a bright young thing with forty years ahead of them under the yoke of the above and those that will follow them.
