Not nice to read how lawyers are helping investment vehicles (SPIVs) pay low or no tax and avoid stamp duty on UK property by offshoring owner-companies.

Defrauding the UK taxpayer and evading UK jurisdiction, this has been the EU’s stock in trade (with an enormous sense of entitlement) since we submitted to them in 1972. I’m glad Brexit is giving them pause for thought.

I hope the government’s tax changes do anything to protect the interests of Britons living in Britain and I likewise hope we Brexit cleanly and swiftly. The Tories deserve to be replaced with Corbyn if they don’t pull their socks up.

We are angry, are being betrayed and we don’t give a flying fig about the economic consequences of a Labour government.
