Poor Mr Jenkins. First his marriage hits the rocks. Then he finds out that the legal advice he took in 2011 (for which he didn't pay a penny) was allegedly wrong (and I mean allegedly). Then his new solicitors, IPS Law LLP, go and issue proceedings against the wrong defendant. Then his application for substitution of the correct defendant is turned down. So he appeals and it transpires the original judge got the law wrong.

I don't want to ruin his weekend but I hope he hasn't checked the Google reviews for his new solicitors. They only get one star out of five. OK, two reviews is hardly a representative sample. But the comments written by one of those reviewers could make Mr Jenkins wonder if he is unluckier than Rochdale FC.
