“The government never think that it is necessary for anyone dealing with the government or Local government to have legal advice, so perhaps they could even up the playing field by simply having none themselves.”

To be fair to the government Joanna some of the ministerial decisions of Grayling C. suggest that they don’t actually get any sensible legal advice themselves either, however much they pay for it.

(Though I do have to accept that there is an alternative explanation, viz that he does get such advice but just ignores it)
