I have inherited files from other Firms who punted claims through the portal to try and gain a quick admission, whilst knowing full well the value was over the £25k limit (eg: catastrophic brain injuries), and then lost their way as clearly the claims are complex multi track claims. Lunacy on their part, and now I'm stuck with their ineptitude unless CoA can provide any insight into what "exceptionality" is (although I won't hold my breath)
