How much work is involved in running an RTA. It would not take much with even a small success fee to reach the 25% cap on losses, especially for a £3000 whiplash claim. £500 + £750 = £1250.

The occasional much bigger case and there is decent profit at £400 a case.

The reality is that for firms to market for new clients digitally and compliantly the cost is often much more than this broken down case by case, so they are not only acting illegally they weree gaining an unfair advantage over competitors who are acting ethically. £10,000 fine hardly seems enough.

So agreed. Good riddance.
