I remember paying my daughter’s car insurance premium of well over a thousand pounds and then around the same time receiving calls from CMC’s persistently trying to persuade me to claim whiplash for a minor prang. The CMC ‘s were very close to asking me to commit fraud. It was clear to me that my money was contributing to an industrial scale harvesting of dubious claim. It is impossible to put a figure of how much fraud has been produced but I would guess that the great British public is not going to be hesitant in claiming. Thank god for the government reforms
