The cost of conveyancing is on the websites, and in the Engagement Letter, if the transaction throws up something that is not quoted for i.e. restrictions on a sale which need RX4' s including repayment of funds and/or help to buy loan on a sale or purchase then the client should be informed straight away. In respect of referral fees clients should be told about these but some estate agents do not seem to be doing this. It would be nice to just get on with the job!
