I have every sympathy for Court staff and many Court legal advisers who struggle on a daily basis to make the system work as best they can.
The source of the problems is the determination by Court Senior Managers and Executives to force through a Court Reform Programme and to continue to spin the austerity myth whilst failing to listen to the concerns of Court staff and Court Legal Advisers let alone the views of Solicitors and Barristers. The senior staff have a blinkered approach to HMCTS which is centred upon the failure to recognise that Courts and Tribunals are a taxpayer funded Service to which all citizens should have equal access.
