As the former CEO of our firm, now retired due to insanity, used to say, every firm should eliminate each year the bottom ten percent of the dead wood at every level. This may be all very well for a firm that bases its business model on US box sets but it is a sure-fire recipe for a toxic management culture, especially when most of the partners are either dead wood or deadbeats themselves. I'm hanging on in there, hoping that my age, gender and ethnicity will allow me to carry on as a "grey man" until I have to pack it in. Enjoy your weekend everyone; even now the thrusting younger generation of idiots in suits are plotting your repurposing.
