Mr Boyne - with your tired reference to "Remoaners" your post seems just a way of getting in a dig at those who favour remaining in the EU. But it is not they who are affected here as, if their aims were to be achieved, then this Irish problem would not arise. It is only if, and when, the UK leaves the EU that those lawyers seeking to do business in the EU (whichever way they voted) will encounter, and have to cope with, this hardly unexpected stance from the Irish legal system. Those in favour of Brexit should (if true to their principles) confirm that this is exactly the kind of thing that they expected to happen after we leave the EU and that (if they believe it to be the case) it is simply one of the many challenges that the UK must face and overcome (nay, surely, welcome) as the small price to pay for achieving the no doubt huge (though strangely nebulous at present) benefits of being able to do deals with other nations from outside the EU trading bloc and of being able to keep out of the UK all those pesky Europeans, who burden the UK citizenry by depriving them of all the jobs that they would no doubt be taking up in droves in the fruit picking and care home industries (for example).
