One of the astonishing things about the brexit experience is the inability of our remainer bretheren to see that the EU relationship is an abusive relationship and that these people , our EU partners, are not our friends. In the case of these particular "friends", they have been kept safe in their beds every night of their lives by the RN and RAF at our expense. That cuts no ice. We are not liked by our European neighbours and no amount of appeasement will make it otherwise. No deal brexit please, and soon.
