Many commercial service entities are establishing a presence in Eire as a hedge against an EU Exit agreement that ignores their needs. The fact that the local law society is uncooperative is hardly surprising, England’s loss will be Eire’s gain. There is an unattractive element of petulance about some of these comments. The U.K. voted to leave and must be assumed to have thought through the consequences for its profitable legal and financial services sectors. Of course if it didn’t, then one might start to wonder whether there are some bears of very little brain out there.
And comments about military support are not to the point. NATO and the EU are different things, although the prosperity of the latter is vital to the integrity of the former. But of course you already knew that didn’t you tovarich?
