On 20 March 2017, the Adjudication Panel of the SRA resolved to intervene into Mohammed Asif Din, practising at Dean Solicitors Ltd (formerly at 123 Drake Street, Rochdale, Lancashire OL16 1PZ; branch office – second floor, 7 Eldon Place, Bradford BD1 3AZ); Sovereign Solicitors (formerly at 35 Knowsley Street, Bury, Lancashire BL9 0ST); and Shire Solicitors (formerly at 7 Eldon Place, Bradford BD1 3AZ).
Din practised with Ismail Patel under the name Dean Solicitors Ltd. The intervention relates solely to Din’s practice at Dean Solicitors Ltd and does not affect Ismail Patel.
Din practised in partnership with Shameem Ali-Iqbal under the name Sovereign Solicitors. The intervention relates solely to Din’s practice at Sovereign Solicitors and does not affect Shameem Ali-Iqbal.
Din practised in partnership with Sarah Khan-Bashir under the name Shire Solicitors. The intervention relates solely to Din’s practice at Shire Solicitors and does not affect Sarah Khan-Bashir.
The ground for intervention was there was reason to suspect dishonesty by Din in connection with his practices at Dean Solicitors Ltd, Sovereign Solicitors and Shire Solicitors.
