Nominations are now being accepted for this year’s Law Society Excellence Awards, which will recognise the outstanding achievements of solicitors working in all areas of law across England and Wales.

The Excellence Awards are now in their 13th year and nominations are sought in 22 categories, including eight that recognise outstanding individuals. There is a new award in 2019 for an exceptional contribution to access to justice.

Nominations are open until Friday 3 May. The shortlist will be announced on 29 July and the winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Wednesday 23 October.

’Every day solicitors across this country demonstrate their commitment to their clients, their community, and to the rule of law,’ said Law Society president Christina Blacklaws. ’The Excellence Awards celebrate the very best - the winners highlight not just the values of the profession, but the vital role solicitors play in the administration of justice every day.’

For more information and to submit a nomination see: https://www.lawsociety.org.uk/support-services/events/excellence-awards/. There is no limit on the number of award categories that can be entered, and submissions are free.
