Global phenomenon Law Rocks! is just one highlight of this year’s London International Disputes Week – the most widely attended event of the UK’s legal year. Rocking lawyers from Secretariat, A&O Shearman, XXIV Chambers and Bristows are lined up for an unplugged set, along with barrister Ed Butler. Be warned: the fundraising gig at Inner Temple Hall on 2 June will sell out quickly.

Meanwhile, the programme for the main conference event, also on 2 June, at the QEII Centre in Westminster, has just been published. Speakers include Sir Geoffrey Vos, master of the rolls; the Rt. Hon. The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, president of the Qatar International Court; and independent arbitrator and mediator Paula Hodges KC.

Across the day, panels will bring together senior lawyers, experts and legal technologists to explore topics including:

  • AI and the future of evidence;
  • The rise of mass claims;
  • The intersection of law and politics;
  • Law at the frontiers – space and deepwater disputes; and
  • International access to justice.

The day will also feature a fireside chat with Clare Wardle, outgoing general counsel of The Coca-Cola Company.
