Paul, I can only say that I agree with every word you say. And the worst of it is that MPs award themselves a double digit pay rise with associated benefits! I am all for paying off the debt and reducing or abolishing the deficit, but we've all got to do it.

The result of the court fee hike will be people settling their differences in other ways. And on that topic I am just reading an interesting biography of Ned Kelly...
