Anon 9.28,
I agree with your first paragraph wholeheartedly.

But then you went on to condemn my comment at 1222 on 24 January.

In that comment:
- I emphasised the importance of retaining a sense of humour and irony
- I condemned those hateful and despicable far-right campaigners who have made the lives of the likes of Anna Soubry, other MPs, broadcasters, and journalists, a misery. They have chanted that they were 'Nazis' and 'sold out their country'.
- I agree that those sort of politics should have no place in our country from whichever end of the spectrum they arise.

So what was it that I said which was actually hateful?

Did you object to me calling them 'loonies' or implying that they were extremists? I could say that you are 'hateful' by falsely calling me 'hateful'.

And another question: which alternative party are you going to join? Is it the new one that good old Nigel is going to set up? Or another alternative party? What will it stand for? Will it be red, green, blue, or purple? Will it be whites-only? What on earth will it stand for? Pie in the sky?

(PS I am using good old sarky humour here, not being hateful. I am never hateful. I just hope you actually appreciate the difference, and that the sub-editors of the Gazette do as well!)
