Registered Charity No: 201321 (England & Wales).
Established: 1920.

The Officers’ Association Benevolent Fund (OABF) exists to provide financial plus practical support and guidance to former officers and their dependants.

The OABF works with military and civilian charities along with trusts and foundations to access grants and services that help improve lives. We understand that every situation is unique, and believe that all those who have served – and the families that support them – should have someone who understands their background and individual needs, especially in difficult times.

The OABF is as relevant now in helping officers and their families as it was when formed a hundred years ago. We deliver a prompt and bespoke service based on a thorough understanding of individual needs.

The OABF is a member of the Confederation of British Service and ex-Service Organisations (COBSEO). The charity co-operates closely on benevolence cases and works collaboratively with a wide range of agencies and civilian charities; we also look after former British officers resident in 18 countries overseas.

Please consider the Officers’ Association Benevolent Fund and its support to those who have served our country, often in difficult conditions, when you advise your clients about donations and legacies.
