Rescuing the most abused and neglected animals from the most deprived areas of our Capital City

All creatures deserve enough to eat and drink and a safe place to live and thrive, but sadly that is not the reality for many pets and free-living animals in London. Through our 365 days a year community outreach programme, our Animal Welfare Officers specialise in reaching the most suffering and at-risk animals and finding a safe future for them. It is the most difficult area of animal welfare that most charities are not geared up to, but we do not shy away from the challenge.

Our Emergency Fostering Unit has an in-house veterinary facility and experts in safely and gently handling terrified animals that no longer trust humans. Our specialist equipment and protocols prevent disease spread and offer a safe and calm environment for our little furry patients to recover.

The pandemic did not shut us down, it made our operation more vital, but it stretched us financially. The cost of living crisis is stretching us even further, with more animals needing us than ever before. We rely on the generosity of our supporters and animal lovers to keep up our endless fight against animal cruelty and neglect.  Please support those most desperate of animals by remembering the RSPCA Central London Branch (Charity number 248489) in your will. Legacies provide a lifeline of funding to keep our operation working flat out to make the streets of London a safer place for all creatures.
