A canal boat dweller appeals a High Court ruling related to the removal of his waterways licence. An earlier county court ruling, upheld by the High Court, found that the Canal & River Trust was entitled to determine his ECHR article 8 defence (the right to respect for private and family life) at an early stage of proceedings.
