We fight to promote the quality of the brand of solicitor, but is it a losing battle?

Last weekend, 20,000 junior doctors marched through central London to protest against planned changes to their employment contracts which have been labelled a ‘disgrace’, generating front-page headlines pleading ‘Save Our NHS’ and leading articles critical of the government’s position.

What a contrast with the solicitors’ fight against the government’s cuts to legal aid, which drew little or no public support.

Everyone seems to say that they hate lawyers, yet I have yet to meet a parent who didn’t want their child to be one.
