Firm hire: Munich partner for Dentons

Global firm Dentons has strengthened its banking and finance practice with the hire of Jobst von Steinsdorff, previously general counsel for the Dusseldorf-based private bank Bankhaus Lampe. Steinsdorff has joined Dentons’ Munich office as partner at the beginning of the month. 

Steinsdorff led the central legal department at Bankhaus Lampe’s Dusseldorf office for almost four years. Prior to that, he was responsible for legal work and the expansion of the bank’s capital market business. His long in-house career also includes many years in the legal department and the regulatory structuring business of Hypo Vereinsbank/UniCredit in Munich, where he worked on a broad range of banking and regulatory matters.
