Firm hire: Wollen lures Lorimer back to Devon

Family solicitor Ellie Lorimer London solicitor has joined South Devon firm Wollen Michelmore after five years in London.  She will be the family lead in the firm’s Dartmouth office, offering family legal services to local clients. Her main area of expertise is dealing with matrimonial finances upon divorce and complex matters involving trusts.

Rebecca Procter, partner and head of Wollen Michelmore’s family team said: ’We are delighted to have Ellie on board. She brings with her a wealth of experience in not only matrimonial finances but also niche areas of family law practice such as transgender issues, fertility and surrogacy law. She will be extending our family service within Dartmouth and the surrounding areas, as well as beyond.’

Lorimer, who grew up in Devon, says she is delighted to be returning to the West Country; ’Dog walks on Dartmoor and family bike rides along the coast still feel a complete novelty compared with London life, and I’m particularly looking forward to lots of trips to Bantham Beach to work on my (mediocre) surf skills.’
